I am fascinated by the tension between collective ideologies and personal beliefs.

Coming from a background in International Relations, my previous work focused on the role of religious institutions in civil society. I am now taking an anthropological approach to my research questions so I can explore the relationships between people, faith, and institutions in more detail, as well as with more awareness of local context.
