The American Anthropological Association is the largest association for professional anthropologists in the world. De León’s Undocumented Migrant Project, now hosted at the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology, uses ethnographic, visual, forensic and archaeological techniques to study the experience of migrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border in Southern Arizona.
