UCLA Anthro graduate Miriam Gonzalez: a teacher and DACA recipient who helps ease the anxiety of undocumented students
One of our previous students, Miriam Gonzalez, was featured for her work in the classroom helping undocumented students through this scary time. https://edsource.org/2017/teachers-who-are-daca-recipients-help-ease-anxiety-of-undocumented-students/587183.Miriam was a participant in the What To Do After Graduation program where she met a Teach for America recruiter. Through that she was accepted into Teach for America and she’s now in her second year teaching at Crown Preparatory Academy.
